  • Honey Bees are disappearing

There are oftentimes we wonder if we've ever done anything good in our lives.  Today, during a time when honeybees are disappearing from our country, I took this picture of one of my girls (all field bees are female) working a sunflower in a sunflower field I planted this year.

    I'm a beekeeper.  That's one good thing.

  • They are scarce here, though I am seeing them finally this season.
They are admiring my sunflowers as well. Next year I shall plant as many as I can.
That photo is fabulous, an excellent viewpoint.

Just curious... you are a bee keeper, a physician, a photographer, and what else I wonder.

  • Well, well, well - nice to see you pop up here again.

    What a great picture!

I'm doing my part to keep the local bees happy. They have established a hive in the dirt I keep for my garden pots. They seem pretty happy there.
